In the summer of 2017, we have opened our lovingly refurbished farmhouse, Moutain Retreat Anagh More. We have two rooms for rent on the first floor. A double- and a twin bedroom. From your room, you will enjoy views of the mountains and the valley. Your room has a seating area and a private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Read more about our B&B accommodation here.
Breakfast is served in the cosy Farmhouse kitchen. We serve full Irish breakfast while you can also choose an extensive continental breakfast.
If you have different wishes, vegetarian, gluten-free or dietary requirements, that is always possible and the breakfast will be adapted for you. Your breakfast contains as many regional products and organic products as possible.
We live and work in harmony with the place and surroundings. Staying here is an experience in itself because of the calm, the spacious location and the fresh mountain air. We are self-sufficient for water as well as heating. Electricity comes from a wind farm nearby thus reducing our environmental footprint to the minimum.
Your room at Anagh More has a seating area by the window with lovely views over the valley and Crochain mountain. That’s why you will love the en suite with spacious shower, basin and toilet, separated by a sliding barn door.
There is a possibility to make coffee and tea on the landing.
On the N22 from Cork to Killarney at about 12 km for Killarney take the exit to the right marked L7059.
On the N22 towards Cork coming from Killarney at about 12 km take the exit to the left marked L7059.
After the exit follow the road for about 1 mile or 1.6 km up the hill. After about 1.2 km you have to open the left gate. Please close it immediately after passing for the safety of the horses.
